Amy Sula
CrossFit Coach
When initially introduced to CrossFit in 2012 my intention was to enjoy a challenging workout a few days a week, at most. Competing daily demands simply didn’t allow for a greater time investment. However, shortly after being embraced by an amazing CrossFit community, I quickly realized that my fitness had to be a priority and recognized the balance CrossFit brought to my life. I sought my L1 in 2017, Kids CrossFit certification in 2019, and NSPA Weightlifting in 2020. Outside of the gym, I lead a team of project managers and hold Master of Social Work & Project Managment Professional certification. I also serve my alma mater, the University of Pittsburgh, as an adjunct Professor for the Graduate School of Social Work. It was through this role, and 20yrs serving child welfare, that I was consulted and contributed to the 2018-19 Kids CrossFit Program Guidance updates for CrossFit HQ. I program and lead AIM CrossFit Teens, CrossFit Kids, Fundamentals programs and coach adult classes. You’ll usually see my better half Coach (husband) Bill coaching alongside me.
Certifications: CrossFit L2, CrossFit Kids, Act 33/34 & 73 Clearances, NSPA Weightlifting, CPR & First Aid
